Kaf e Aaina by Parveen Shakir

Kaf e Aaina by Parveen Shakir

Apparently, Shakir can be named the fundamental female author to use the word  (young woman) in her works. The male-administered Urdu refrain scene just once in a while uses that word and uses masculine semantic construction while talking about the 'darling'. Correspondingly, she consistently made usage of the Urdu first-person. The genteel pronoun in her refrains which, anyway generally ordinary in work, was now and again used in the stanza, even by female essayists, beforehand her.

On 26 December 1994, Shakir's auto collided with a vehicle while she was in transit to work in Islamabad. The accident achieved her passing, staggering adversity to the Urdu stanza world. The road on which the accident happened is named after her.
